What the world really needs is more love and less paper work.

Not only is women’s work never done, the definition keeps changing.

It takes a lot of energy to be negative. You have to work at it. But smiling is painless. I’d rather spend my energy smiling.

Oh, if I could but live another century and see the fruition of all the work for women! There is so much yet to be done.

If it is surely the means to the highest end we know, can any work be humble or disgusting? Will it not rather be elevating as a ladder, the means by which we are translated?

Obviously, I come from one background, and the people that design fitness equipment have been doing it for years and years, and they know what works and doesn’t work.

If you start to disrespect the character you’re playing, or play it too much for laughs, that can work for a sketch, it will sell some gags, but it’s all technique. It’s like watching a juggler – you can be impressed by it, but it’s not going to touch you in any way.

I don’t know that there is much the United States can do except work with the international community.
