I had an almost fetishistic attraction to film technology.
The technology is really where all of the changes have taken place, but the fundamentals of a good story being the basis of every good picture, and really the only basis still remains the rule, more so today, I think, because we’ve unfortunately weaned an audience from birth to kind of mindless movies.
The respect for human rights, essential if we are to use technology wisely, is not something alien that must be grafted onto science. On the contrary, it is integral to science, as also to scholarship in general.
I’ve gone to China, bought a manufacturing company and moved it to America. Now China wants to buy back some of that new technology from me. That’s a great story for America.
And like I say, I think we’ve got other cases other than Iraq. I do not think the problem of global proliferation of weapons technology of mass destruction is going to go away, and that’s why I think it is an urgent issue.
There’s a lot more to see when you’re playing and because of the advances in technology it makes room for all kinds of new characters.
We can just assume they have much more and powerful, more advanced technology, all the new computers, everything could be much more easier and help them to build much more and many more nuclear weapons.
