Unfortunately we don’t have all the bits and pieces on the car that we had hoped to have by this stage so we’ve got to make as good a job as we can with what we have and we feel we are doing well with that at the moment.

Everything officers go through in any chase anywhere in the country, but amped up 100 times! I’m right in the thick of things in a car going like 80 miles an hour, and doing 360s in the middle of the road. It was a wild ride.

A guy came to the shop every day. A lot of guys put the foam like stuff that forms to you, kinda like the Indy car guys run. He fitted it up and it felt real good, so we’re going to try to run it.
I listened to it last night for the first time since we started this project. I went out to my car and put it in and went to an empty parking lot and just listened and read the little pamphlet that came with it. After two or three songs I burst into tears.

I’m ashamed to say this, but I watched every episode of ‘Starsky and Hutch’ as a kid. I loved that show, but now I think it’s stupid – they’d have a car chase for no reason, then Paul Michael Glaser would shoot the car and it would blow up.
What Paris has done right is to make it awful to get around by car and awfully easy to get around by public transportation or by bike.
